I'm working on adoption of a maturity model at a large insurance company. The P3M3 model, in my opinion, is more robust and cost effective than OPM3. My only concern is adoption of the P3M3 model. Is there any availability of the adoption of these models. I want to understand world-wide adoption, and the adoption in the US.
Thanks Saving Changes...

Hi David
I am Lead Author for P3M3, and really pleased to see that you have found it robust.
With regard to it's international adoption. The new version has only been out for 6 months and has really taken off in the UK. It is being used in Northern Europe and particularly Scandinavia, I'm going over there to speak at a conference next week on the subject. I have had quite a bit of contact with Australia on the subject and we visited New Zealand last year as part of supporting their Government adoption. Not come across any US take up I'm afraid.
Take off was partly due to the free Self Assessment tool that was developed alongside it. I wasn't involved with that particular part of the project, but it has certainly given access to the masses, even though some of the results come out a bid odd. People tend to folow up their result by reading the full version and diagnosing themselves.
We've run around 10 assessments since it was released, and there don't appear to be any glaring ommissions or errors. I think we could probably have worded some areas a little better and the Generic and Specific attributes should be integrated. Generally though, it has come through the consultation period (6 month) unscathed.
