Hello, everybody.
Hope you are doing well! I'm very interested in IT Project Management but I worked mostly in construction and had minimum exposure to IT. The question is how to gradually transfer and/or gain experience in IT management?

Thank you for your impact.

Thank you, Sergio.
I know it is a complete shift but will continue to work on this.
Just to comment I did the opposite. And when awards said nothing to me I think thing go well due to the construction project won intenational awards one of them in a PMI cathegory.

I'm an IT Project Manager, and the transition shouldn't be difficult.
All you need to do is demonstrate a high-level understanding of IT principles, and the easiest way to do that is to obtain entry-level IT certifications, such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or CompTIA Security+.
Also, get a book like 'Networking All-in-One For Dummies', by Doug Lowe. That will help you learn IT basics very quickly.
