I don't know if I entirely agree with your definition, especially with the thinking part before you speak. It does not seem to me that this feature is impeding or enhancing performance. For me the deciding factor will be more the ability to communicate effectively, and to involve the entire project team in the pursuit of the objectives. I'm introverted so I get it. Being a PM means we have do what need to be done to be successful and bring projects to close. Sometimes it's painful having to be in meeting and not having time to think through answers, solutions, etc. However I just try to over prepare as much as possible. I wish you the best.
