There are several possibilities .... and exercises that can help control stress.
The most important thing, in my opinion, is to control your mind

Making time to ensure that your priorities are set correctly. Effectively managing the workstreams in priority order allows you to reduce the items that can be clouding your view and adding additional unwanted pressure.

From a stress management perspective, as Luis has said, make sure you give yourself time to clear and control your mind for clarity of thinking.

Mind over matter. It's a little bit of a cliché, but it's true. That and don't get invested or wrapped up in politics or trying to be political. That almost always leads to ruin. Sometimes it feels unavoidable, and that can create even more stress. I take a step back, breathe, try my best to assess things objectively and from the perspectives of the other stakeholders involved. Common ground and perspective is a big stress reliever.

Keep things in perspective, realize you're not alone, have conversations, get out of the space and take a walk.
Exercise regularly.

One of the keys to handling “stress and pressure” is recognizing that what you “feel” and what you “know” are normally two different things. Accepting this fact and allowing what you feel to be valid, but then choosing your path based on your knowledge is a winning strategy. We need to remember that physical manifestations of stress normally occur when our feelings (being neither right nor wrong) are in the driver's seat.

Getting the above perspective is not easy when you are in the frying pan, which is why it’s important to have approaches for resetting yourself, e.g. taking a walk, breathing, meditating, etc. as already mentioned.
