1. Remain mindful of the goal of the project and do not let outside concerns cloud what you are trying to accomplish. A lot of time stress builds up around things that are on the periphery, sapping your energy. 2. Focus on what is within your control, and then focus on that which you can influence. One of the keys to handling “stress and pressure” is recognizing that what you “feel” and what you “know” are normally two different things. Accepting this fact and allowing what you feel to be valid, but then choosing your path based on your knowledge is a winning strategy. We need to remember that physical manifestations of stress normally occur when our feelings (being neither right nor wrong) are in the driver's seat.
