@Kiron
The environmental cost of charging will depend on the method of production in your region. Here Hydroelectricity is pretty clean, the trees are removed before inundation. This reduces to almost nothing CO2 emissions.
Hydro-electricity comes with different environment issues: water diversion, animal displacement and dam construction/maintenance

You are right Hydro-Electricity is not without problems for the environment, probably still the best in terms of impacts and reliability. All techniques have their drawback, Solar is possibly one with less impact but reliable around the planet or the seasons.

Hi Luis,
Agree, if we collectively have put all the research $ in cleaner energy compare to petroleum, we will be much more advanced.
How to sell something that will increase employment? Politicians have cold feet.
I don't remember the numbers, but investment in solar energy was cent compare to dollars until recently, the same goes for other clean energy sources.

Dear Vincent
One day I read a reflection that struck me: "Whoever made money polluting will make money decontaminating"
Made me think: Economic interests are above the interests of humanity
One member of this community reflected on the discovery of durable batteries (applicable in all domains such as smartphones).
My question was simple:
The average battery life of a smartphone is 3 to 4 years.
Over a lifetime, a person buys 12 to 13 batteries (assuming a life expectancy of 60 years). If you multiply the world population by these batteries, you will know the annual consumption.
Consumption forecasts will allow you to build lean operations for your manufacture.
Current batteries will not be replaced unless:
1. Pollution is such that it is advantageous to recover the discarded batteries and replace them with the new product.
2. Lithium (as raw material) has been depleted and it is advantageous to replace it with another material
Saving Changes...
