I was project manager on project in airports. As you know, airport project could be running in multiple areas inside the airport so it is a boarder domain. If you are searching for templates or something like that I can not provide them, sorry.

What exactly are you looking for? Is your project related to airport construction or systems? T1 expansion or T2? I've heard rumours that T2 is approved.

I know that there is some SOX compliance in Qatar but don't know if this is strictly enforced. If so this will probably be one of your major hurdles to incorporate.

Standard PMI methodology and procedures for project management do work well in any industry including aviation

Aerospace is a highly project-intensive industry having projects with long gestation periods, wherein safety is of prime importance demanding highest levels of quality. The project management components that can be used extensively include Knowledge management, an accessible repository of Lessons learned from issues reported in the airport, building on Organisational processs assets (OPAs) based on standard processes/procedures followed, a comprehensive risk management methodology covering all aspects of airport operations, imbibing AS9100 D standard guidelines with project management such as quality management provisions to include the 'human factor' in operations, mitigate the risk of counterfeit parts to name a few.
