System: Project 2003 (not server)
Issue: - Resource Pool individual calendar does not update in the Project Plan
Detail:- We have a central resoure pool that all of the PM's link their plans to however I have noticed that after changing an individuals resource calendar (e.g. they are on holiday for a week) it is saved correctly. When I then open my MPP and the pool the plan does not seem to be taking into account that they are on holiday.

Q:- Any ideas of what I may be doing wrong? does the MPP calendar over-ride the individuals calendar?

Hi Peter,

I might be teaching you to suck eggs, but have you got the ‘Pool takes precedence’ radio button selected?

Thanks Darren,

Yes I have. I think it may be something to do with the individual calendars and whilst the pool takes precedence the scheduling to show they are off does not get fed across to my MPP, the calendards do not seem to sync.

I am looking at whether it is to do with selecting the default project calendar in both the MPP and the resource plan, therefore there may be a conflict. If not then I am up against a brick wall!.

Cheers.
