Hello, I wanted to know how I could get the 35 contact hours that are a prerequisite for PMP certification for free. Are there any recommended webinars or courses that are easily verifiable that I can take to meet the hours requirements ?

Remember that the 35 contact hours do NOT have to be strictly for PMP prep training purposes. You could consider courses you have taken in the past on soft skills topics (e.g. leadership, negotiation, conflict resolution) and those would be applicable so long as you still had proof of completion and some evidence of what the content, agenda and duration was.

PDUs on ProjectManagement.com can only be used for certification renewal and cannot be used for the 35 contact hours needed in order to apply for the PMP certification.

In my case, I use webinars in projectmanagement.com. But it is to acummulate PDUs to renewal. If you are talking about needed hours to certificate as PMP then I understand that it can be used. But remember: because you can be selected for audit keep the email you recieved about participation as evidence.

I'm not aware of any free solutions.

I am interested in applying for the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and am currently gathering information to ensure my eligibility, particularly concerning the required 35 hours of project management education/training.

I am based in Vancouver and have come across various online courses on platforms such as Udemy and LinkedIn Learning. Could you please confirm if these courses are recognized by PMI towards the educational requirements? Additionally, are there specific accredited centers or programs in Vancouver where I can complete this training?

I have not heard about any free courses. However, to the Kiron's point, they could be all PM related courses.
