Where should we introduce PM concepts in Academics

Is High school the right entry point for children to be educated about Project management ? What are your views ?

In my opinion, there are not a right entry point, the way we teach to the young kids must be different acording with the maturity level.

In PMI Portugal local chapter we have in execution a program of PMI in schools with the support of the PMI Educational Foundation, and the program includes young kids starting at 6 years of age.

At Portugal our first cycle of education has de duration of 4 years so includes kids from 6 to 10 years ( called primary school) and there are schools adopting the idea of basing the teaching in project management style. This is being done on several age groups successfully.

I can leave here the link of the program with more information, about the implementing steps already made, testimonials etc.... ( For those that are interested).
I only apologize that the information is all in Portuguese language, since certainly it would be more interesting to share this with all local chapters and project managers in more universal language like English.
