Having spent some time in home building and now working for a home building supplier, I'm intrigued by this question. Especially in production home building where the same product is built on a serial basis, with only marginal changes between homes, it seems entirely possible to use an agile-like methodology. This would require a deep integration between the home builder and its suppliers that would allow the suppliers to react quickly. In fact, it would be best if the supplier were were part of the protect/decision making team. The result might not be a pure agile but something more approaching DSDM.

Fully agree with Rami, hybrid approaches that involve agile and waterfall methodologies provides best solutions for construction projects.
