Documentation and organising 5 project

Hello everyone. I'm working in new position as a project coordinator. There are 5 project in water&waste treatment field that all started long time ago.now documentation is messy, tracking is not clear.
please help me to organise them.projects are 'pc' and 'Epc.
Especially, are there any documentation benchmark/template?

Documentation has sense in the framwork of your defined project management process and governace. Then, check it and the minimun deliverables you need to accomplish it.

Our organization hasn't this processes.and doesn't work base on standards. The more important that very individuals had been changed before me and everyone made his own repository.

Does your company not have any project management standards re: documentation? How about the clients for whom your company is performing these projects? Either of those should be a good starting point.

If not, I'd suggest looking at the documentation which is there and work with key stakeholders to understand the gaps in what they are expecting and what you need to maintain an appropriate level of control over these projects.

Exactly what Kiron states above. Not sure how much I can add to it. One thing is this will certainly not be an overnight process, but take time to gather, clean, fill and organize. This is also a good opportunity to begin instilling some documentation processes, using your successes to prove the value of the model.

BTW, congrats on your new position. Now go show 'em what you got!

Take a look to PMI“s COnfiguration Management Standard (link below).
It is "light". I prefer the IEEE standar. But I think it could help you.
