Hi Mujeeb

Agile Process changes in every aspect of Softdevelopment Process at least practically. Test Management on Agile will continue to fail unless necessary communication is provided to you as Test Lead. Since the PMs are taking undue advantage of stating the unnamed process as Agile Process to avoid any conflicts with the management. So, to organize the test management we need to interact with PM closely to understand requirements. So, please take care of the communication model/method of requirements.

Thanks Kishore

Indeed, I'm looking forward to collect info regarding the aspects of Test Management in Agile that can help me drive an analysis for the Literature over practical implementation (aspects of test management) in the real world.

Aspects include:-

Organizing the resources, test artefacts, test planning, test authoring, test execution, test reporting(quality metrics, defect tracking), testing team, team co-ordination, testing process etc.....

would be much thankful, eventualy, if you can provide or specify me any references to the resources or links which i can use for my dissertation. I apologize for taking your valuable time, indeed your suggestion can certainly make a difference and help me arrive to some conclusion.

Many Thanks

Regards
Mujeeb

There is no "right" answer to this - if there were it wouldn't be a writhy dissertation subject.

It is quite possible to do the software development phases in an Agile method, and then apply standard testing approaches to the deliverable - although the Agile team will have to include in their outputs sufficient "as built" specifications and maybe scripts to test against.

Or you can integrate testing completely within the Agile process, so it becomes part of the development work, done on an iterative way to each iteration.

Or you can do a mix of the two.
