I have failed the PMP for the second time. I will admit the first time I was not prepared but the second time I attented the PMTI bootcamp for a week and really feel like I knew what I was doing. I am now afraid to take it for the third time because if I fail, I will have to wait another year to reapply. Any advice? Saving Changes...

Sheri something that you need to give serious consideration to is the fact that maybe you do not understand the questions correctly or that you spend too much time pondering each. From my experience, the questions PMI uses in their certification exams are rarely based on real-life and it is more about catching you out with choices that are 'more' correct than the others.
Once you understand this I would follow proven logic when answering multichoice questions:
a) Always look at the last part of the question (especially if it long) for a clue about what they want. This will help your brain filter out irrelevant information
b) Then read the question statement from the start.
c) Eliminate the outliers, there normally at least 1 but mostly 2.
d) If the correct choice is still not clear then flag the question and move on.
e) When you return to flagged questions and is still stumped then choose the choice that is considerably longer than the others. It's not science but statistics say it is most likely the correct choice. Saving Changes...

Dear Sheri,
I fully agree with the approach Anton proposes. In addition to that you have to memorize page 25 of the PMBOK 6th edition and really understand the process flow. This will help you so much with picking the right answer.
Regarding the brain dump, well, I did it (took me max. 5 minutes) and in the end there was 1 question for EV.
As many others before me mentioned, do as many online questions as possible. I had access to around 10.000 questions and this helps you understanding the PMI way of thinking.
All the best for you Saving Changes...

Sheri - everyone's advice is great. My final thought - on the morning of the exam, before you even get out of bed....smile, throw your fist up in the air and shout I've got this! Then, go do - you've got this! Try one more time and you will feel such a sense of accomplishment when you finally get that long sought after PMP! Oh.....please come back and tell us when you pass so we can cheer with you! Saving Changes...
