As the year comes to an end, and given we are one big community family, it would be interesting to hear about each other’s achievements during the year:

- What did you achieve on a professional level ?
- What did you achieve on a personal level ?
- Did you follow a certain plan you set ?

Dear Rami,

Thanks for sharing your experience and I consider this as a very nice thread.

I am new to PMI world and getting exposed to such a big community itself is a big thing for me in 2019.

Looking forward to get most of it from this community in the upcoming year to develop my professional career. Planning to complete PMP certification as well as aiming for ACP also.

I am getting moved into a new career in my organization, where I am going to get exposed to lot of project and program management activities. So the coming year is going to be so crucial for me.

Personally this year is neutral for me. However I hope next year will give lot of good things.

Thanks.

Hi Rami,
First off, sorry for your loss and congrats on your achievements. 2019 was a pretty good year for me:

Professional - I got promoted to a Regional role within my company so now I look after all business projects within Canada and Midwestern US. For my personal development, I was able to attain my PMI-RMP designation and my Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt and Change Champion training this year.I also got my acceptance to write the PMI-ACP which will most likely be done in March 2020 (Fingers crossed)

On the personal front - My first child was born on October 30th so he is keeping me up every night but It's well worth it.

Looking forward to the challenges the year 2020 will bring for me.
