Biases are built-in devices that allow us to filter information that is coming at us.

The most important thing you can do is to be aware of your biases. That is, recognize how you think about people and situations.
Dear Stephen
Interesting your opinion

Thanks for sharing it.

For example:

"Everyone falls victim to biases.

Here are four to look out for:

Confirmation Bias: Subconsciously prioritizing lessons learned from past projects.

Groupthink: Following one vocal or authoritative person.

Attribution Bias: Not acknowledging past setbacks as potential risks to the project at hand.

Success Bias: Focusing too much on delivering the project and losing sight of the overall strategy.

Including evaluation of the biases in risk assessment helps by taking out emotional discussions that can occur in early phases like defining and planning.

I think discussions here are helpful as not everyone reads all articles

Dear Avid
Thank you for participating in this reflection and for your opinion.

In your opinion is it possible to analyze "Potential Biases" as a project risk?

I absolutely agree with you: "I think the discussions here are helpful because not everyone reads all the articles"
