During the PMI Global conference in Philadelphia, there was a session that I joined:
"Steps to giving a TED Talk: PMI Global Conference 2020"
I joined the session for curiosity and because I'm a TEDx organizer and I was exited to meet one of the bit TED curators.
During the session, they announced that for PMI Global Conference 2020, they will be selecting 15 PMI Certifications holders to be a TED@PMI Speakers...however I didn't see anything announced yet.
Did I miss it? Have you ever thought about be a TED speakers? Saving Changes...

They explained that the initial plan that they were still drafting was, 3 days of traditional conference + 1 full day TED@PMI.
However they couldn't answer questions as:
- Same price for all? or do we need different tickets? Saving Changes...
I was there! Sat next to Lori, with Mayte right in front of us!
This will be a great experience. I have not seen any formal announcement, but they are accepting applications from what I understand.
I have a co-worker super interested on that, I'll look around TED forums to see if we should apply using the traditional process, I really was expecting a big announcement and a special application from. Saving Changes...
First, I did not know you were attending the Global Conference this year with PMI, that's great. Happy for you.
As for the TED speakers for 2020 Global Conference, I believe it will be in Seattle so it will be very convenient for me to attend if I was invited as a TED Speaker or for the Ask the Expert Corner. Maybe I should send them my Certifications Wall of Fame :D (Just Joking)

Yes, Rami, I was there! However my actual projects didn't allow me to post about it, I have my plate full since I moved out of tech department.
Hope that you can make PMI GC in Seattle, the global conference are amazing, and I will be honored if they will invite me to "Ask to the experts" too. :)
Related to the announcement, no idea, it's for that I posted here.

During that conference, Andrew Craig and I sat in on the TED Talk meeting where they described the 15 applications PMI has secured for taping during the PMI Global Conference next year in Seattle. During the recent PMO Symposium in Denver they had the same TED representatives sharing about it again. I believe there will be more announcements coming and you would be an excellent person to apply for one of these spots, Mayte! Go for it! I'll be your biggest cheerleader!
