Dear Sante, Interesting thought. One of my ex Colleagues from India Dr.Sudhir Varadarajan has written a book called "Managing Nothing" where Dr.Sudhir analysed how Indian IT Services models evolved and the different roles played by SMEs. He titled the book "Managing Nothing". You may want to look at the same and have an appropriate book for the current global trends. Please see link below
While I had a similar aspiration a decade or so ago, after publishing over 800 blog articles, I don't see any point. I've probably had more folks read my articles than would buy a book I'd write and I wouldn't look at this as a source of income so not much value for me.
Why not take a page from authors like Stephen King and write content if readers are willing to sponsor it. Start with one chapter, make it publicly available and then use a kickstarter campaign or something similar to get folks to financially pitch in to encourage you to keep writing...

Thanks Kiron. Not a bad idea. That approach is ok if you don't mind spilling out a topic that is common. If something unique, it might spur another author to produce a similar work. I hear what you're saying about blog articles though. You might have to select your best articles one day and put those in a book ;-)

350 people, so I just need another 349 ;-) Saving Changes...

It depends. each has its own pros and cons. You may not be accepted by a well-known publisher and/or institute.
Abolfazi, this is true. It's the chicken and the egg. I may have to look at self-publishing first just to get some runs on the board. Saving Changes...

You can try to challenge some of these people to participate in this project.

Dear Sante, I can get that organised for you if you really need that help. I mean for the physical copies printing at cost-effective price for you. You can then commercialise it through one of the publishing houses. I know few publishing houses in India who can be able to help you in case the PMI route is not an option for promoting your book.
