GTD: Natural Planning Method

A comment on another thread yesterday reminded me of a great TED talk from David Allen on his Natural Planning Methodology.
I like to use this approach in certain scenarios, but find it more applicable to single projects than a PM who runs multiple streams simultaneously.
I'd be interested to know if anyone here uses this technique and what experience benefits or pitfalls you have gained.

Dear Karl
Interesting your question
Thanks for sharing
Although I know GTD I prefer to use Stephen Covey's proposal in the Third of 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: First Things First
He also wrote a book on the topic.
The purpose is to organize ourselves first (according to this methodology) so that we can organize others

Even for complex projects, I don't think it will work well but that's my opinion.
