When someone writes an article or asks a question that you find interesting and makes a comment, do you usually read other people's answers or just limit yourself to your comment? Saving Changes...

I do both because others feedback can be valuable too on one hand and on the other hand, someone could have already written what I want to write, so this will avoid duplication of comments that will add no value.
Hope this makes sense.

Dear Rami
Thank you for participating in the reflection on this topic and for your opinion.
I usually do the same.
I follow other people's comments because they usually approach topics from a different perspective than mine.
The more comments there are the more I grow as a human being and can incorporate other visions in the consolidation of my opinion.
I asked this question because sometimes I get the feeling that what's important is answering
I honestly enjoyed being mistaken

It is a great question actually, I love it and you have a point.
I actually noticed and respect the fact that you respect and accept others with a big heart, even if they strongly disagree with you. This is a high quality that you have and I am grateful for being connected with great people like you.

It depends how interested I am in the topic. Some topics I don't follow but contribute to just because I have experience with the topic that I think might prove valuable to someone. Other topics I follow because I want to see how people from different industries and backgrounds will respond.

Dear Eric
Thank you for participating in this reflection and for your opinion.
Despite having experience in the topics that are addressed gain anything from reading other people's opinions?
As I mentioned in an earlier thread, I do consider the volume of responses to the question being asked. If more than a few folks have responded, I will just read through the comments and unless I see something which I want to respond to in the thread, I'll hold off. If there are very few responses or I'm the first to read the thread, I'm likely to comment if I feel I can add value to the discussion.

Dear Kiron Thank you for participating in this review and for your feedback.
Although there are several answers, your contribution is unique.
On the other hand, similar opinions written by others can help to "shed light" on a perspective
Writing an opinion on a topic covered contributes to developing some skills
Depends on how interesting it is. I cam usually tell in the first sentence.

Thank you for participating in this reflection and for your opinion.
Is there any special reason not to follow other people's opinions on a topic being debated?

I am spending my free time here to learn from people comments. I am participating in two forums only: linkedin and here. So, I always participate in debates that are adding value to me. That´s because I "hate" and I am not participating on debates of lot of people that systematically post questions and discussions with some reason other than add value (my perception).
