Is this yet another way to help PMI's coffers or a real initiative to ensure the training must at least meet the minimum quality standard?
If it's the later, how can you gauge a trainer's quality of delivery except to see them in action, and pose questions during delivery to see how the open ended questions are responded to as a show of competence?
How much time to test the trainers, number of questions to asked, who are qualified to be examiners/testers.
The current REP systems control bring little value to assure the public of PMI contribution. A check of REP handouts is nothing.It may be good but it is the individuals conducting the training that matters and many are truly lacking in terms of knowledge, exposure and biz skills to even understand what they teach. Unless competency tested, the decay in quality education will continue.
