I am convinced that:
1. AI (Artificial Intelligence)

3. Cybersecurity
4. Remote Teams
5. Analytics (Data Mining)
6. IoT (Internet of Things

Will have a significant impact on projects and how they are managed.

Just add to your list points 3D printing

You pretty much summed it all, I would say top three would be:

- Digital Transformation
- Agile
- Artificial Intelligence

Alexandre,

If I categorize your list, here’s what I get (interpretations could obviously be different):
- PM Extended Tooling (AI, Analytics, IoT)
- Specialized Domain Knowledge (Cybersecurity)
- Experiential Skills (Hybrid approach, Remote Teams, PMO and Emotional Intelligence)

From a skills perspective; “Hybrid approaches” on the hard side, and “Emotional Intelligence” on the soft side are (in my opinion) the KEY to success for a PM.

Everything is subject to interpretation, this is the funny part of all debates, nevertheless your categorization makes sense.

Thanks for your contribution.

Alexandre,

This list if fairly complete. Do you see it would influence all industries in a similar way?

I agree with the lists above and would add RPA (robotic process automation) as another PM-extending tooling trend.
