Do you know any project use Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) for their project? And practically, what are the probable benefits of using CCPM in the projects versus CPM?
As I mentioned in an earlier thread, I've used elements of CCPM and leveraged Dr. Goldratt's principles from his TOC in my past on a few projects.
One of the key benefits of CCPM over CPM is by building buffers at the end of chains (resource/feeding/project) we build shock-absorbers capable of absorbing the impacts of identified risks while not experiencing the downside of padding individual activities such as Parkinson's Law or Student Syndrome.
