After a lot of hard work and study, yesterday I passed the PMP.
A Board member of my local PMI Chapter asked me if I would give tips to the next PMP prep course to students on my experience.
Going through it about the halfway point I knew I had it so I made mental notes on how I prepared vs. what I saw and jotted them down for anyone interested - be it an instructor or aspiring PMP Saving Changes...

One question I would like to ask as a PMP Prep course instructor is if you had to estimate the percentage or actual number of questions which related to agile or hybrid lifecycles or practices what would that be?

The I saw on it was a question related to Rolling Wave Planning.
Agile - which is something that will be implemented in the test come July, thus wasn't on my exam. I wouldn't advise spending too much time with preparing for it.

I passed my PMP exam on Dec 5, 2019 after two previous tries. I would document my journey through out the entire process at some point. What worked for me really was that i was able to evaluate why i did not do well in my previous exams. Saving Changes...

1. Roughly how many calculation questions would you estimate - EVM, EMV, Lines of Communication, PERT estimate, etc.?
2. Were there any questions asking about calculating anything related to CPIF or FPIF contracts including Point of Total Assumption?

Again, yeah, I wasn't on the Forums because I was focused on studying.
One of the things I would share -- I did the practice exams through Rita, but sought out other exams that I could take which might give questions worded differently.
What I discovered was Rita gave a great example of how the questions were asked, with the same format and structure.
A lot of "Free" tests were particularly hard by comparison. It actually through me off thinking I wasn't ready. One of which I advised to my study group to find the nearest black hole and drop it off. It was outrageously hard -- but those were given away for you to actually buy their product by making you think you were unprepared. Questions that found obscure points of the PMBOK and asked them word for word. There was nothing that detailed on the actual exam, because it wasn't about memorizing, it was about understanding.

Congratulations William! Looks like lot of changes to the exam since I took in 2003. Please do share your journey so that the future candidates will be benefited.
Congratulations William! It's very useful for future PMP aspirants to read about the experiences of persons who have passed the exam. I think everyone has his personal experience. For me, the most useful thing was to practice with simulators, that help us to adapt to the type of questions presented in the real exam. Saving Changes...
