Additionally to the work performance data, what is the main purpose for considering the work performance reports WPR ( output from Monitor & Control Project Work process) in the Monitor Risks process.
Thanks in advance. Saving Changes...

Dear Abdelkader
Interesting your question Thanks for sharing
In PMBOK Guide 6th Edition (Page 26) you can get the answer:
"Work performance data. The raw observations and measurements identified during activities performed to carry out the project work. Examples include reported percent of work physically completed, quality and technical performance measures, start and finish dates of schedule activities, number of change requests, number of defects, current costs, current durations, etc. Project data are usually recorded in a Project Management Information System (PMIS) (see Section 4.3.2.2) and in project documents.
Work performance information. The performance data collected from various controlling processes, analyzed in context and integrated based on relationships across areas. Examples of performance information are status of deliverables, implementation status for change requests, and forecast estimates to complete.
Work performance reports. The physical or electronic representation of work performance information compiled in project documents, which is intended to generate decisions or raise issues, actions, or awareness. Examples include status reports, memos, justifications, information notes, electronic dashboards, recommendations, and updates." Saving Changes...

Data must be trasformed into information. The WPR shows information. Usually most of the people do not take into account the critical difference between data and information. Saving Changes...

WPRs present information (insights, status, trends etc) to specific stakeholders or for specific purposes.
In the case of risk identification, analysis or monitoring, information about new risks, existing risk (trends) or risk triggers will change the risk portfolio of the project. Saving Changes...
The PMBOK Guide does provide this clarification specifically for the Monitor Risks process on page 456.
Remember that WPRs consolidate WPI from different processes and sources. Analyzing this information holistically rather than just as individual information elements can help us monitor specific types of risks - the PMBOK Guide suggest performance-related ones, but I'd expect more than just those could be considered.
