There is no doubt about this agreed statement however I would like to hear from someone who had landed a PM job with the assistance of this website either through networking or anything else.
Please share your experience. Saving Changes...

Hi Riyadh,
Thank you for this question. I am happy to share that I landed a few contracts via being a PMI Chapter member (sorry not through projectmanagement.com). Though quoting PMI "Good things happen when you get involved with PMI" might sound a cliche, in my experience, it's a fact.
Being an engaged member, I am enriched by the opportunities to learn, grow and be able to lean on a wealth of experience via both PMI and projectmanagement.com.
Riyadh - what about you? It would be great to share your experience as well.

Amany, thank you for sharing your experience my problem I live 455 KM away from the chapters and I just pay the fees but could not get in touch when they do any gathering or function it happens on the day I am working,I would travel that far if it happens on weekend
So for me I did not get any job or any connection to lead for a job either through PMI / chapter or this website

Dear Riyad
Interesting your question.
Thanks for sharing
By getting involved with your region's PMI Chapter, there are sure to be plenty of opportunities to do things
I am convinced that you will have the opportunity to develop skills (Technical, Leadership and Business and Strategic) that will be very useful to you in the development of your personal and professional activity.

Dear Luis, thank you for your encouraging words as I mentioned to Amany the chapter is 455 KM away from where I live I tried many times to join any gathering but the timing is not working for me because of the distance
I always work on my professional development however the true sad story there are so many incompetent people holding key position just because they are member of the commanding gang of the general manager that's why they say here in Canada (( It doesn't matter how much you know it is whom you know)) obrigado
Thanks for my participation in this Community (and a healthy dose of luck), I was one of the lucky few selected to volunteer at the 2019 PMI GC conference in the Ask An Expert sessions.
Lori Wilson was one of the other members selected to participate and we had a number of good conversations over the course of the event.
Lori met a gentleman from Europe who had a training need for his PMs and was kind enough to put me in touch with him after the conference as she felt I might be able to help him out. My boss and I have spoken with him and provided a services proposal for delivering training in the new year.
Will this deal come through? Unknown, but there's no way we would have become aware of it or had a shot at it if not for Lori's kindness, and the opportunity provided by the Ask An Expert organizers.

Kiron my friend thanks for your story but this is a windfall and not permanent opportunity like we wish however I really hope that your deal will go through and you can benefit from it as such you always deserve that for all your contributions.
This is still a good website to get introduce to such great people like you Rami Kevin Sante Andy Mounir and many others I can't put all the names here
Good luck to all of us

This is indeed a very interesting question.
I can’t speak to landing a job as I wasn’t looking but I sure did connect with many professionals of whom I established great relationships with. Would this have lead to finding a job if I was looking ? Possible.
However, it is worth mentioning that many of those professionals did not connect with me here directly but instead on LinkedIn, mentioning that they saw my profile on projectmanagement.com but they are not active here so they would like to connect on LinkedIn.
I am not going to jump into why they are not active here as this is off topic but I just thought it is worth highlighting as it’s a significant number of individuals who are great influencers in the project management community.

Rami my friend with a big influence on this community, much appreciated your comment it is very true and we all know for many reason the LinkedIn is more dynamic with more features this is just about the technical side but there are more to that so maybe one day I get a job near the chapter so I would plug in more often but for now 455 Km is too much on the working day that's mean I have to take three days off to attend one day in the chapter , I don't have that many vacations
