This is a callout to the silent members/readers of the PMC community. Please drop in and say hello by submitting a comment below and telling us a bit about yourselves. When did you find PMC, and what type of topics are you interested in?

Hi Priya,

I agree that creating “visibility opportunities” for members enhances engagement. As it relates to “member of the month”, that sounds a bit like Aaron Smith’s Peerspective blog, although it would be nice to have different categories of “member highlighting” blogs that occur each month.

I would like to see competitions that spur the generation of articles, for instance having a “thought leadership” competition, where members would submit short articles on chosen subjects that the community would vote on, creating finalist that would then go before a committee where winners would be chosen. Creating content is the goal of this platform, but there are relatively few that actually generate articles.
