Dear Luis,

The change of the year is a human allegory in which we set a psychological goal to set new goals and briefly review what we achieved in the previous year, but the important thing is not the year but our life cycles.

Human behavior does not change overnight, it changes over time, with our experiences, with our multi-cultural relationship and with our self-awareness and willingness to improve our flaws and defects.

Clearly we can accelerate these changes if we are predisposed to it and accept change and also with introspection and training.

1 - Improving ourselves as human beings will help.
2 - Improving as professionals will will help.
3 - Focus in what is important.
4 - Help others to improve as human beings (together we always achieve more, and discover better solutions)
5 - The environment in that we belong has a strong influence.
6 - Watch out for windows of opportunity.
7 - Be proactive in creating windows of opportunity.
8 - Finally a little bit of luck doesn't hurt anyone.

We can improve what we control, influence what we don't control if we have the power, and in the end relationships often have more influence than merit.
