Role: Project Manager

Style: Behavior perceived by others (not what we think we are but how others see us)

Results: consequences, what you get

In your opinion, for the same role, different styles lead to different results?

Kiron gave a good answer. Let me add that Project Managers who immediately use a management style without first determining whether it is the most appropriate style for a particular project usually cause a host of problems for their teams and stakeholders.
Dear Eric
Thank you for your participation in this topic and for your feedback.

We partially agree with what you wrote: "use a management style without first determining whether it is the most appropriate style for a particular project usually causing a host of problems for their teams and stakeholders"

Otherwise it would make no sense: "Be the change you want to see in the world - Gandhi"

I believe results will always depend of the context, your style and the person perceiving your behaviour. There is no guaranteed "one-size suits all" in terms of style and different results may occur.

While reading your scenario it came to my mind the popular adage "There is a lid for every pot" :)
Dear João
Thank you for participating in this reflection and for your opinion.

Between:

"Be the change you want to see in the world -Gandhi"

and

"It's not the strongest that survives, nor the smartest, but the one that best fits the changes- Charles Darwin"

There must be a style that is most effective :-)

For doing in Portuguese sayings: "To whom very low :-)

Different styles lead to different routes being chosen to reach a destination in a given time period.

The circumstances along the journey will dictate how well a "style" works at any point in time.

Even the best planned route may encounter unplanned traffic.
