Why are people's names translated in Discussions?

Has anyone noticed that people's names get translated on the Discussions pages? Luis Branco becomes Luis White and Daire Guiney becomes Apartment Guiney?

It's not consistent, replies show the correct, untranslated name. The list of discussions also show the correct name.

Rami, it only happens if you select a language under TRANSLATE at the bottom of the web page. Mine was set to English instead of being empty.

When I switched to French, Luis' last name went from White to Blanc.
Oh, I see what you mean. It translates the names too. What does mine look like ? :D I guess I don't exist in the dictionary.

Stéphane,

Interesting problem, I have replicated on my system.
At the top of the page, there is a new bar with a button "Show original" that fixes the problem here!

Thanks for the tip, Vincent. For other readers, the bar is part of the browser, not the web page itself.
