SME and Trailblazer Badges without clear description

Hi,

I suggest that the SME badge and Trailblazer badge have a more clearer description on how they can be achieved or receive a 'no longer available' note.

I've seen a couple of older threads regarding the criteria, but no official replies from PMI's engagement specialists.

Without properly available criteria, gaming is not as effective as it could/should be

Joao - Some clean up is probably warranted. These are legacy badges from when the site was Gantt Head. While, certainly, we want to strive for clarity and consistency, doesn't seem to be having any negative impact.

Hi Andrew,

Agree with you on not having a negative effect, but at the same time if it's not available anymore it seems it's just updating a text field :)

Both the SME and Trailblazer badges are not earned by completing various activities on the site like the other badges. They are both manually assigned by PMI staff.

Hope that helps!

Hi Heather,

Many thanks. Nice to know that.
Is it like an award where a person gets appointed by a committee? Since questions are recurrent, it would be wonderful if it was explained somewhere :)

And to add to what Heather mentioned, I believe probably they are maybe discontinued now with the new Ambassador Program launched.

Heather, please correct me if I am wrong.

They're not discontinued, however they're not awarded often.

Thanks Heather, that makes sense then, as I haven’t seen anyone (Unless I missed something), being awarded those badges since I joined late 2015.
