As we have introduced a number of new processes, tools, roles with project activity, how do we accelerate the learning for team members as they on-board?

Taking a very quick look we have added the following....
PDM4SAP +
Solution Manager - Issue Management
Solution Manager - BPH
ARIS
RBE+
SharePoint Collaboration
Roles -
BPA, BPx, Solution Architect, TPM

we embrace and applaud the changes but we have to find a way to accelerate the team learning and use of the tools. Some sort of road map that indicates what tools are in play, which ones I should be using, etc.... any suggestions?

Focus your teaching on the business process, not the tools. What is important is the business process and how efficiently is executed. If tools do not improve your process they should not be used.

Show your new people the use of the tools int he context of the business process.

I would add, be outcome driven. What is it you want to achieve? Be specific in operational terms. Then be process focused. Tools are just there to help accelerate the process and in and of themselves are worthless except in context to achieving a well defined objective.
