Are you obsessed with the deadline?

What about the other stakeholders of your project?

The general idea is: there is no place to procrastinate / curl up in pursuit of great "dreams"

The haughty "dreamers" I met were also at the top of the Pragmatism Scale: they are determined to conduct real tests to monopolize real customers.

Given that most of my clients have been government departments, I've often had legislated deadlines. Under Agile, I don't have to focus on the deadline, only the prioritizing the work.
Dear Stéphane
Thank you for participating in this reflection and for your opinion.

One day they asked me:
If agil were an animal, what animal would it be?

I answered: Chamecheet (chameleon + cheetah)

Dear Rami
Thank you for participating in this reflection and for your opinion.

Interestingly, he wrote: "I'm obsessed with what matters most: delivering value to customers."

Is the deadline integrated into what we might call value?
Luis

It depends, it’s a case by case. Sometimes you have to extend some deadline or deliver earlier in other cases in order to deliver the right value at the right time and this case, sticking to the original timeline won’t add as much value as it would if it was reconsidered.

Hope this clarifies.

Dear Sante
Thank you for participating in this reflection and for your opinion.

What led you to get lost after the first sentence?

Can I help you find yourself?

You made me laugh reading: "I guess being OCD I would count myself as obsessed with a lot of things."
lol, I get lost a lot.

After the first line, I got lost with Sante and Kiron (The Lost Trio).

I don't obsess over deadlines, they are important but not a bible. I obsess over what matters most which is delivering value to the clients.

The deadline is not part of the value?
