Project Site Template for Sharepoint:

Is anyone out there using Sharepoint to serve as their project repository / collaberation tool? If so, does anyone have a template they can share?

My company has an implementation of Sharepoint (integrated with Project Server). We are developing a template site that will house all the project information. I would love to see what other folks have done & learn from what you have done as well.

What web-parts work well? Which don't?

I would recommend keeping the Project Workspace template simple & what is common between all projects.

I can understand if you are trying to develop Change Management, Problem Reporting, Bug Fixes functionality etc, etc,... if you have Project Server - why are you trying to develop a template site to store all Project Information?
