Looking for an advice with filling PM exam application. What can you suggest as far as 500-characters description of the each project. I found it pretty difficult to fit description in that short form. Is there link with example -? Thanks. Saving Changes...
I know of no template for telling your story about your accomplishments. Projects all have the same activities: purpose, activities, deliverables, schedule, success/failure. Your role in those activities is the story of your project life. Eg: Led team of electrical engineers delivering 8 month raised floor deployment. Strictly managed change control to ensure minimal scope creep, delivering 15days early saving $225k in labor costs. - that's about 250 characters.
The key is to understand who, what, where, when , and how of your project. Not every "W" is applicable, but most are. The exercise here is demonstrate your ability to be succinct. If you can't adequately describe what you did in 20 seconds, you probably were out of control.... ... Saving Changes...

If appropriate, post it here. I'm sure you'll get a lot of feedback and wordsmithing.
