In a digital era, the pin will go digital.

So we can print it, and put on our suit to look professional and serious.

Intriguing direction PMI is taking.

Why not just print the new logo!

What do you think of this new direction concerning the pin?

Hi Vincent,
I think it is a very good idea.
In the age of IoT, it would be nice to be able to cooperate with various systems and devices.

Takeshi,

Those who still have a physical pin will be able to use it, but futur PMP will just get a virtual pin. I agree it will be good to cooperate with various media, the physical is one!

Luis,

For those who got the pin and still have it, like I said perfect. Futur PMP will not get the physical pin. Is the pin comparable with Engineers and their ring?

Andrew,

That could be it, you have found a solution. Maybe we can do the 3D print in various colours, to correspond to our actual mood.

To be honest, I do not use pins no matter I have some of them because the organizations I belongs to and I was recognized because a certification, title or contributions made. I think it is a need for some people that was very well analyzed by Masslow. It has no sense for me. Just in case I have to use a pin due to the need to identification or due to national holiday the only pin I use is the Argentine Flag what I call "escarapela" (I do not know the translation to english). Is the only thing I am proud: being Argentine.
