I had my exam on Jan 18 and I passed,my deadline was Jan 21. On Jan 22 received an email that if I wanted to take the exam i should re-apply again. When I logged on my PMP it says that I need to get certified.

So I waited one week and contacted them, they told me that they had technical issues. Still today after 3 weeks I have not received anything nor the status has been updated.

Has it happened to anyone??

Thanks,

Sorry to hear you're going through this. I have a question:

After you finished the exam, did the center give you a printed paper with your results ?

Don’t worry, they will sort it out. As long as you have this paper, you’re good. Something similar happened to me in one of their exams and it took them around 2 months to sort it out properly.

This happened to me with Pearson Vue, so maybe it’s a glitch in their system.

Generally speaking PMI customer care is superb. Try calling to US customer care or your country PMI customer care and follow up on your ticket. They will be able to resolve. Since you have paper trail that proves you have passed the exam, they will consider it.

Hi Sachin,

I contacted two times them, they replied both times, they were good with it. Yesterday they advised me that they had a problem to update they records and that would be updated within 3 days. This morning i just received the email confirming that i was certified.

Wow. So sorry to hear. So long as you have the printout, you should be good. May take some time, but that is proof you passed. Additionally, the testing center will have a record of you being there. Definitely keep us posted!

Congratulations Adriana! Sure certificate will be sent soon. I'm scheduled to write the PMP Exam before the syllabus changes. I must say I'm overwhelmed with the exam information online. Any advice of concise exam info is welcome. Thanking you in advance!

Hi Robbie,

Thanks and don`t worry everything will be alright. I completed the certificate from University of Toronto 4 years ago and at that time i did not think of completing the PMP, and that was my mistake. I would suggest to either complete one of those accelerated courses as refresher, or work with both Rita`s book and PMBOK. On same time i used a lot of online testing, that's what helped even more.
