What is your opinion on the use of simulators in the training / learning process? (Example: flight simulators and pilot training)
Can the Project Management profession be learned using simulators? Saving Changes...

Dear Luis,
I think you should had also the use of simulators in development, implementation and research they are also widely used.
In project management point of view, I think simulators would be a nice contribute to inexperient PM's or recent graduates practice their skills. I know for a fact that there are contests in PM based in simulation to determine which is the best team to execute and achieve the project goal , should be easy to use this framework and apply to practice , simulating project environments.

Dear Alexandre
Thank you for participating in this reflection and for your opinion
In the case of pilots, flight simulators can be used to gain experience, to recycle some skills and to acquire new skills
The same can be done with Project Management simulators
And even championships to choose the best teams in Project Management

I believe I wrote an article a while back on this very subject - I felt that the Kobayashi Maru simulation in Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan presented a good working model for what might be done in the future to test the mettle of budding PMs...

I took a quick look and it seems like an interesting starting point. However, what I'm envisioning would involve augmented reality and would also throw a number of very challenging issues at a PM...
I think case studies are one of the traditional simulated experiences.
Case studies have proven to be effective, and in that sense, a more intense simulator is very effective.

Dear Takeshi
Thank you for participating in this reflection and for your opinion
It is different from what I think is a case study in Project Management
It is the simulation of real situations (day-to-day of a project manager) in which you have to make decisions about what is happening in a project

I don't know the latest version of the game
I know they were developing an augmented reality upgrade
