Dear Alexandre
Thank you for participating in this reflection and for your opinion
Do you consider that, participating in ProjectManagement.com, we only built a reputation and a network in the USA and Canada?
Dear Luis,
I only can consider facts. 1 - All that is new, happens in EUA and Canada before happening else where. 2 - The major events occur frequently in EUA, and that some events every now and then in the rest of the world. 3 - The first persons to have access to new certifications and become instructors are from EUA and Canada , everyone's know that the first ones are always in advantage.(BCG Matrix) 4 - You can build a world network , but is really effective or is just a bunch of connections. 5 - In the end the center of the world is EUA. 6 - A concrete sample, for example for DA upcoming workshops in the next months:
American continent: ( until April more or less) Canada - 10 workshops USA. - 7 workshops Mexico - 9 workshops Brazil - 1 workshop
Rest of the world Italy - 1 workshop UNITED KINGDOM - 1 workshop NEW ZEALAND - 1 workshop Romania - to be annouced SOUTH AFRICA - to be annouced
America 27 - Rest of world 5, way to unbalanced Fact : American continent is the center of the world
7 -. Who are the reviewers of PMBOK7 , I could bet that about 70% are from American continent.
Etc..... ( I am not being diplomatic)

LinkedIn is more interesting to me in general, but that's because I get a wide variety of topics from my network.
For PM specific content, I like projectmanagement.com.

In your opinion, considering the Talent Triangle, would the themes chosen for the debate be broader? (Example: I see some strategy debates) Saving Changes...

Hello Luis: I spend more time here because I am not actively seeking a job change, and I gain so many things from this community on a daily basis.
Hi Lori
Thank you for participating in this reflection and for your opinion
I ask you the same question I asked Wade:

Different platforms for different reasons. I spend time on both. More active here, but also somewhat active on LI. I don't see them as comparable platforms, though, certainly, there would be overlap across. I don't find that to be surprising.

You wrote: "Over time, I hope to see it also become an effective platform for 1: 1 and group mentoring"
What prevents this from happening today?
What improvements must be made for this to happen?

George Freeman and I have had a couple of conversations with the community engagement folks here to explore options for this - stay tuned!
