During the working day, today was really a stressful day, everything happening at the same time, things that didn't work, reminded me some of the forces of chaos.

1 - Change is the Only Constant
2 - Even Leaders Tend to Fail
3 - The Nervousness of the Leader
4 - Everything Happens at Once.

In my case, I tend to subdivide tasks to simplify, delegate, obtain extra support of the team, postpone non-urgent and unimportant situations for other days and focus on what really brings value.

What strategies as project manager do you take to overcome these days?

Dear Alexandre
Interesting your question
Thanks for sharing

Two different concepts:
1. Manage chaos
2. Manage in chaos

I think your question falls into the second category

The best solution: go to the root cause and think about what can be done so that this situation does not happen again

Alexandre, thank you for sharing your day with us. These days do happen from time to time, but they help to shape the person we are today and will be.
As a professional, we have to take time to recognize that moments are fleeting, even the tough ones. And just that we can recognize that tough moments are growth moments can make it that much easier.
Good conversation and a nice libation can help, too. :) Cheers.
Alexandre - Thank you, for your thoughts

I will answer for the point of view of physics which is what I apply to my life and work places including it I had the pleasure to be published by the PMI and others. In fact, one of the critical uses from 1960 up to date is in systems/software/technology which is my primary field of knowledge with physcis too. Chaos can not be manage because when you try to manage it then you contribute to chaos. The only thing you can do is working with the probabilistic side of chaos. But project managers do that when work with things like risk and issues.
