Our lives should be about continuous improvement. We have to reflect on all our activities. You can set some time aside at the end of the day to review and think about what we did and what we will do. I prefer to embed the time in each activity. It might be the Toastmaster in me that wants the immediate evaluation on what I did.

Because the learning path is pre-defined and the goal clearly defined, Luis.
When you learn by doing, you have to figure out your own path and goals.

Interesting what you wrote: "When you learn by doing, you have to figure out your own path and goals"
The other day, here in our community, I had the opportunity to read an article on a blog with the theme: "SCARF a Brain – based Model for Managing People on Projects"
I didn't know much about the model.
I went to look for more information and, interestingly, I found what I discovered very interesting
That is, I had to dedicate time to study to satisfy my curiosity
New doors (and windows) opened for me as I studied this topic
Do you consider that curiosity is a fundamental characteristic for learning? Saving Changes...

I've been thinking about your answers about the learning and learning process
What competence (s) should a person have, in your opinion, to transform experiences into learning r / or knowledge?
What is the reason why so many people opt for formal learning and to receive, in the end, a certificate?
I'll try and respond to both your questions. First with regards to competence.
Obviously one needs the ability to read, listen, interpret as a well as a general understanding of the basics of the subject of interest. There is no point in trying to learn the theory of relativity if you have no basic science knowledge. However, I think the ability to learn is more attitude related than competency - curiosity, open minded, patient, tolerant. It also helps if one is prepared to apply effort and time. Also, the less you know the easier it is to learn as there is more to learn. As a child you know little but your capacity to learn is great. As an adult sometimes unlearning is as important as learning (preconceived ideas, biases).
Second question related to 'certificates'. I can come up with two reasons for the formal learning process and validation through certification. 1) recognition both of yourself and by others (bragging rights), and 2) validation/verification to support your claim of subject matter expertise (get a job, more pay, comparison to peers, join the club, title).

Dear Luis, yes indeed, I am working in remote location, basically we start working here at 7:00am in the morning but I start a 4:00am preparing for my exam planned on march, i win 3 hours each morning and during the day I try to find 1 or 2 hours when possible, if no chance, i will cover the rest after working hours 7:00pm by doing two additional hours to summarise i have a minimum of 5 hours during my days of it is 8 hours everyday basically same timining it is not easy but as I have a target to achieve, I should do my best I can say studies is kind of escape from the problems that we are facing a kind of relaxing method that I use to reduce stress of life thanks Hamid
