Project Analyst vs Assistant Project Manager vs Project Service Engineer

Hello Everyone,

Please describe the role of Project analyst, Assistant project manager and Project Service engineer. Which role would be better to begin Project management career?

There are no standard definitions for PM job titles - it varies by industry and by company within industry. However, based on your list, I'd suggest a Project Analyst is a good stepping stone into the profession followed by Assistant PM. Project Service Engineer sounds like a technical role more than a PM one.

I second Kiron's understanding and answer to your question. I would simply add that you should use whatever project role you can get to learn more about project management. Volunteer to help ou on project management activities where and when you can. It will endear you to the project manager and provide you with learning opportunities.
