Global Congress locations 2021?

I know this is early to talk about 2021, meh, why not... so any great locations for the 2021 Global Congress? This year is at Seattle which means that West coast is out of the question. I attended my 1st Global Congress in Pennsylvania last year and loved walking around town to the variety of restaurant, historical landmarks, and I felt safe to explore the city. Post your great location and why.

Time for PMI to look for a location outside of the U.S. for their "Global" congress :-)

As EMEA has their own annual conference, perhaps Australia, South America or one of the other North American countries might be considered...

Kiron I was thinking the same thing and thought that most of PMI members are in the USA so it’s easier for them to travel domestically. Now that the numbers are so high, maybe every 3rd year, the “Global” conference can take place outside of the US. I’m down for Australia. Then the Asian/Pacific countries can join in!

Kiron I was thinking the same thing and thought that most of PMI members are in the USA so it’s easier for them to travel domestically. I have a very personal opinion about this fact, as Global congress is the name of the gathering, I think that the location should vary from country and continent , it's a way to say that the others also count.
If PMI wants to increase is presence in other places must go to there, it's a way of sending a message of support and care and have a more active presence.

PS : EMEA congress is not the same thing that a Global congress.
In Portugal a few of university college degrees 5 years ago started to include IPMA level D and GPM certification at the end of the MBA and Post-Graduation course. The number of universities adhering to this scheme now is increasing, this is a very effective way of educate PM's and bring members to IPMA branch, so I see with some concerns the future of PMI in Portugal.

Very food point, PMI must maintain their numbers and quality. I was thinking of going to Prague for EMEA. Hope they make it better so I can visit and attend a conference over on the other side of the world someday.
