Hello! I am working on LRT project and I need some help to prepare Requirements Matrix. The purpose of this matrix is to ensure that all the critical specs are covered in ITP (Inspection Test Plan). Is anyone has a template? Much appreciated.

Sounds likes an RTM (Requirements Traceability Matrix). Have you searched the templates section of this site? If not, if you Google for Requirements Traceability Matrix you'd likely find lots of examples, but in general these are easiest done in an MS Excel spreadsheet with columns representing the different stages of the delivery process (e.g. HLR, DR, Design Elements, Test Elements) and rows representing the requirements.

Requirement matrix tend to be specific to a project. I doubt that two customers will have the same set of requirements. Requirement matrixes can be used to submit an RFP (make sure you have address each section of the specification), or for development (Here is where you specify the requirement, where in the design is being addressed, how to test, etc.). Is just a great way of ensuring you don’t miss a requirement and/or not to include things that are not required (Cost/Scope control.)
