that's kind of a loaded question because there are so many and it depends on where you are with various projects. Number 1 on my list is alway projects status. What got accomplished this reporting period, what's on tap for the next reporting period. what are the issues\who is responsible\does it impact the critical path - same for risks that have been triggered.

I would only add that for most organizations it is best if meetings/discussions to have with project managers is a matter of organization (or PMO if you have one) best practice or policy as opposed to being left up to ad hoc best efforts and chance. If you have a need for project managers, you have a need for a useful and usable approach for managing projects. As always, don't choke the horse with unnecessary details and bureaucracy.
