Hi everyone: can you please help me decide what change management certification to do? Which do you recommend me to do: Prosci or HUCMI

Are you asking about content or brand recognition? This is the first I've heard of HUCMI, but it looks like it is more popular in Latin America and Africa. Does one, or both, show up in job postings where you live? I'm Prosci certified, so I'm a little biased. I like Prosci's approach, but I can't find enough detail on HUCMI for a thorough comparison.

I checked the ACMP site, and HUCMI does show up as a QEP vendor. From an ACMP perspective, one is probably as good as the other.

I found a summary of the HCMBOK; it looks like it has a stronger ties to Project Management than Prosci. For Prosci, the test was taken during the class. It looks like the HUCMI exam can be taken online.

I'll be watching responses - if anyone here is familiar with HUCMI, I'd like to hear their take on it.

I am interested in knowing what content is the best, because PROSCI is excessively expensive in relation to HUCMI and I want to understand why the high cost

Dear Jenny Maria,

What are your reasons for seeking a certificate in Change Management?

Change Management is dealt with in considerable detail in PMBOK 6 which is enough to cover even the most taxiing project.

Are you going for a role specifically in change management that requires you to have a qualification in change management?

I did my change management with Prosci. I did the one specific to project managers and it was perfect. It helped me understand how to better align my project management tasks with my business counterparts.

Definitely Prosci Jenny of the two choice you submitted. That or APMG.

I've only heard of Prosci. Had not heard of HUCMI until today. I'm certainly no expert, but our consulting firm has CM as a capability and uses Prosci.

It is very expensive Jenny. I was lucky to get the company to pay for mine.

Jenny, will you be tasked with providing structure (framework) for change delivery? Or guiding organizational development with a greater focus on people? If it is the latter, a program with roots in org. psychology may be more suitable.
