Can watching tv shows like extreme engineer or impossible engineering count towards PDUs?

I lean toward "no," but suggest that you check with PMI directly. I suppose it is within the realm of possibilities that you might be able to quantify 15 minutes of an hour long show that you might be able to count toward technical, leadership, or strategic & business. I'm not sure you could count a full episode. I think it's a stretch, and I suggest you be prepared to support it if you get audited.

You might be able to get CEUs for your engineering license. Not sure by the show titles whether project management is sufficiently present to count. (Hmmm... I wonder if I could get PDUs watching Four Weddings?)
