I find it very strange because test centers are the perfect place to control the possible spread. People are separated and the contact surfaces such as the table, keyboard, and mouse can be disinfected after each test. Actually, as I'm typing this I would hope that this is done irrespective of Covid.

It sounds strange as CBT centers are not crowded and seem OK even in this condition.
I just appeared in the exam on 16th March afternoon and passed it. I didn't have any such instructions neither from vue pearson or test center. All went well.

Dear Abdelhamid;
PMI has implemeted so many changes, like DA , Flex, changes to the PMBOK guide , that has forgotten to implement one simple and important of all online exams in this VUCA times.
So many conferences about digital transformation, IA , remote work and in the end you can not do the exam, and depending of the country could be worst, in Portugal is all closed at least at the end of April, without forecast of opening.
So they are not following the principles of DA, be awsome, be pragmatisc, context counts, delight the customers etc..
Sometimes we have to be a little bit sarcastic to see if the iluminated ones in this practices can open their eyes. I can assure one thing while PMI is thinking my mail box is full of offerings with online trainings and certifications from other institutions that before also didn't have.

Dear Alexandre,
Thanks for your feedback
I have contacted PMI for assistance, I am waiting, hope they will get back to me soon
Thanks
Hamid
Pearson VUE has closed all their test centers in the U.S. and Canada till April 16 (https://home.pearsonvue.com/coronavirus-update) so my assumption is that anyone scheduled to take exams during this period would be rescheduled. The question which is still pending PMI's official response is whether there will be the ability for someone who was scheduled to take the current exam prior to July 1 to still be able to take it after July 1 or would they be forced to take the new exam.

Kiron,
This time I have to disagree with you , because you are only thinking in your context (USA and CANADA). You do not know the measures taken in all countries in all the world some more affected than others. In Portugal is all closed until end of April and it will be evaluated at that date if the that measure is implemented until end of May, Spain is all closed in State of emergency , people are forbidden to go outside with exceptional cases. France in following the same path etc...
So for me the real question is always lack of communication of PMI, and what measures it will take to provide fairness to all candidates all over the world due to the cancellation.
And in the end when PMI will take real measures to assure that presential exams is not mandatory, this is not only usufull due to the extraordinary times that we are living, but also a signal of evolution and more opportunities for handicap persons that sometimes have to travel long distances to go to a exam center.

All candidates whose exam was scheduled during this period was cancelled. No one knows how the situation will develop as this is a global pandemic.
I am sure PMI will reasonably deal with this situation but for now, think about people's life at stake which is far more important to consider.
Stay Safe.

Dear Rami,
Yes indeed, all exam was cancelled but if you look at the system in my case it looks like that I didn't attend, I didn't received cancellation email, that's frustrating, moreover, I should re-scheduele my exam asap before going back to work (I work in remote location ).
With regard to the situation of people, hope they will find a solution soon, we are tired from hearing bad news.

Our Crisis Task Force has been monitoring the situation with Covid-19 and as you are aware, this is a very fluid situation which changes by the day, if not by the hour. Our communication team is currently working to provide an update to those directly impacted (certification candidates and live event attendees). Again we appreciate your feedback and thank you for your patience during this time.
