Hello. I was scheduled to take the pilot exam on Thursday. However, I received an email saying that all testing centers are closed starting today. I am wondering what happens next. I understand from the statements that we will be able to reschedule the test once available and we will be getting a 6 month extension. However, does that include the rest of the people for the pilot exam? Will we be able to still take the pilot? Should we still expect the results in May? What should the people who were scheduled to take the pilot still study? As you know some of the study material for the test were different and the sooner we could have that answer the better.

I'm sure all of us have opinions about what the next steps would be, but I'd suggest you will want to contact PMI Customer Care to get an official response to this situation. My assumption would be that if you elect to take the exam after July 1 based on a 6 month extension, this will be the "new" exam which you would have taken anyway as part of the pilot cohort.

Hello,

PMI -customer care very helpful and they might answer about the question ( Are they extend it to the end of year 2020) because all of us have information that it will be changed at 1st of July-2020.
Please let me know ( I am interested in such information).
Thanks in advance.

Talked to PMI customer care. The pilot exam will not be offered anymore. We will be taking the standard exam and extra time will be added as compensation.

Thanks for the updates. What do you mean by "Given extra time as a compensation" ?

Thanks

By "Standard Exam" do you mean the existing exam, not what is currently planned to be standard on July 1? By 6 month extension, it sounds like that exam change on July 1 is being pushed out. Is that what you all read into this?

PMI just notified us in an un-related telecon that an announcement will come out in the next 24 hrs. They wouldn't elaborate on details.
