benefit realization in research projects ? it is one of the main point of the Coronavirus cris ?

biological researches and medical researches do not take into consideration benefit realisation in to their Risk management :

Not at all. I worked in this type of environments (including today but into indirect way) and benefirt realization is taken into account. That could be not "good" then the activity is spllited between national state and private organizations. By the way, Coronovirus is well known from more than 2 centuries ago.

An outcome of a project or program, also in R&D, is seen/perceived as a benefit only by specific stakeholders. Without stakeholders, there is no benefit.

As such, beneficiaries of medical research now are the public (getting hope), politicians (looking good), pharmaceutical companies (producing and selling new drugs at highest prices), you name more.

Even not-for-profit organizations want to realize benefits from their projects and especially in higher product viability risk contexts like the pharma industry, they are definitely keen to know as soon as possible if a given vaccine or other drug is not going to work out so they can shift attention and resources elsewhere.
